SHIMPO NVA-04S

Shimpo has a long history in manufacturing pug mills. NVA-04S is the latest model of vacuum pug mill Shimpo. It is the result of many decades of experience and testing to create one of the best performing vacuum mills for ceramic material processing on the world market. The mill uses the principle of special positioning of two screws and also the new screw construction which is patented by Shimpo company. The construction with two screws is usually used in large and more expensive industrial mills. This equipment removes 100% remaining air from the ceramic material with the extruding capacity up to 200 kg/hour. The hopper shape eliminates interception of the clay on the bottom.

The main body of the mill is made from high-quality stainless steel which makes cleaning easier and the mill can be used for safe processing of white clays and porcelain. Despite its relatively little size it reaches professional standard for ceramic materials processing. Removable stainless cover enables an easy access into the mixing chamber for quick and easy cleaning and maintenance. The mill newly uses effective gear drive (older models were driven with belts). The advantage of this gear drive is quit operation and minimal wear.

Double safety system: large buttons Start and Stop with rubber watertight lids for quick reaction of an operator and safety switch which stops spinning of screws automatically after they are uncovered. The breaker protects the motor from its eventual overload. The mill is designed as compact studio equipment with little demand for work or stock space. The robust base is equipped with little wheels for easy handling. The mill is equipped by motor with power rating 400 W, the vacuum pump by motor 200 W.

The part of consignment is a roller for easy packing of the processed material, cutting string attached to the extruding nozzle, rubber lids for the hopper and nozzle to prevent from getting dry and basic tools for maintenance.

Note: Stainless steel is used for the clay hopper, nozzle, clay wedging shelf, screws and screw case.
